     01.         introduction. hello darlings ! my name is beth and i use she/they pronouns and i am a legal adult <3 this is a carrd for my little blorbo MORRIGAN CHATEAU for the marvel fandom , EST. in april 2024.     02.        inspiration & interpretation. now i am not a marvel comic expert , most of my knowledge of marvel comes from the cinematic universe however i have done my best to create morrigan to be able to fit seamlessly within the comic canon as well despite its many storylines and verses . i do plan to start reading the comics in order to tighten up her backstory and characterization .second, the morrigan is a crucial part of this character's backstory and her own faith. this is where she diverts from the comics as my goal is to stay true to the mythos of the goddess as a pagan worshipper myself this is something very important to me and is why this characterization of the goddess morrigan may divert from that shared in the comics.  03.   content disclaimer. like the marvel world , this character comes with heavy topics , especially due to her being primarily inspired by the netflix marvel shows that were particularly more violent . this is also a space to freely explore and discuss a variety of topics that pertain to the character.

death is the most prevalent topic that will be discussed as morrigan is a coroner and therefore surrounded by death. morrigan views death as simply a part of life and is at ease discussing it openly, as tactfully as she can. GORE, VIOLENCE, ETC are going to be prevalent, this character is connected to hell's kitchen and the PUNISHER.KIDNAPPING & EXPERIMENTATION are also heavy topics deeply woven into her backstory and subsequently the reason for her being the way she is. she is a product of her past and her past contains the horror of being tortured and forced to be a solider / assassin.DRINKING & SMOKING . morrigan uses both alcohol and smoking as coping mechanisms and just casual enjoyment.other topics such as loss , grief and PTSD may be mentioned.     04.        shipping/plotting & writing . i, myself, love plotting and am pretty open to any sort of plot for miss morrigan should it make sense with her character and the chemistry is right when the characters interact for the plot we have in mind. she is also MULTIVERSE / CROSSOVER friendly, meaning i am open to having her interact with DC characters as well as any multiverse character you might have, should i follow them.when we write together i never expect you to match my reply length, i can get pretty wordy and all i ask is that your replies continue the thread forward and give me something to work with . i also do not expect you to respond right away and understand completely that life gets in the way. as i always say, you could reply to a thread of ours three years from now and i would still be excited to read it ! in return i ask that you give me the same courtesy <3     CREDITS.      morrigan is my original character, any and all content written here, my tumblr, or my old quotev accounts belongs to me. any graphic templates, psd colorings, etc credit can be found on my tumblr @/houndofhellskitchen.

↺ by touching someone, she can feel / read any and all injuries sustained by the person she is touching over the course of their life. this also works on dead bodies as long as the body has not reached the decay stage of decomposition. has the easiest time when its a living being.• empathic sensitivity. she is able to feel and sense the presence of anyone she has used her powers on, like a 'spidey sense'.• pain transference. she can use her touch telepathy to take away any pain a person might be facing when she touches them and take it on herself.life force manipulation : a gift from the goddess morrigan, she possesses the ability to use a person's life force to heal or drain them, thus heightening her own powers & strength.• immunity. due to her healing powers, morrigan possesses self-healing abilities meaning any & all wounds heal on their own, the wounds healing quicker if she drains someone's life force. she also cannot get any life-threatening illnesses.  limitations   morrigan's healing capabilities pose the biggest threat and come with the most limitations of her powers.
she is unable to heal any terminal illnesses & must be touching the person in order to heal them.when healing, her body takes on the pain of the injuries. the more extensive the injuries the bigger the toll it takes on her body.she is vulnerable to falling into a coma if she heals to serious of injuries.can lose her abilities temporarily if the healing requires too much of her. treating, life threatening injuries can cause her to lose her healing abilities for a couple days to even weeks at a time. she has yet to find her ultimate limit, though if pushed too far, it can hinder her ability to self heal.requires her to drain a body of it's life force if she needs her powers before they have naturally returned.

  live action     nicole kidman.  general description     between her firecracker energy and striking features, morrigan pulls eyes towards her with ease. she takes after her father's side of the family, inheriting the intense features of the delroy family line.  body build     toned and athletic, her body gained most of its muscle and strength during her intense training in project angelus, while she is quite busy with work and her studies, she manages to find time to keep up her athleticism.  height     5'9 ( ≈ 175.26 cm. ).  hair     long and flowing, her rich copper colored hair falls around her mid back. straight in nature, she often gets it cut into a simple layered style that was popular in the 90s.  eyes     a piercing shade of blue that reminds one of the deep pacific ocean.  style     when not dress in her black shirts and grey dress pants for work, morrigan's style looks like something out of a 90s witch film. deep greens and bold colors in velvets and silks occupy most of her closet. flowy skirts, short dresses, cropped shirts and endless jewelry of all metal tones clutter her closet and dresser.  typology     istp-a. 5w4. chaotic good.  persona     morrigan can be as they say 'a pain in the ass' for virtually everyone she meets. perceptive in nature she often uses her ability to read people to deliver criticism of their hypocrisy in such a way that it comes off as witty banter.she's a fiercely independent individual, finding a love of solitary, that leads her to let only a select few in past her walls and occupy her space with her. though she also enjoys being out and about and a habit of running her mouth too much for her own good.in her private life, morrigan seeks out the comfort of routine & peace. which is ironic given her past. she thrives in a mundane life of domesticity.morrigan is a deeply spiritual individual, though her faith does not come from a childhood growing up going to church. her possession left her with a deep connection to the old gods of her father's lineage.despite the fire that burns outside, her instinctive nature is warm and inviting. if granted access behind the walls, you have gained a fiercely loyal and devoted companion in morrigan. one that comes with witty banter and chaotic nature that will no doubt leave you with a smile on your face and basking in the warmth.morrigan’s core strengths include curiosity, innovation, adaptability and perceptiveness. on the flip side, her weaknesses include a quick temper, recklessness and impulsivity.  familial connections   morrigan had a healthy & positive relationship with her family growing up. she however lost contact with them when she was taken into project angelus and has never attempted to reconnect.

TIMELINE

a house that's always haunted

     BIRTH.         morrigan was born angelina delroy on october 31st to her parents dorothea delroy and partick delroy in the early morning in boston, massachusetts. it was a stormy night, but she slept through the constant cracks of lightning and thunder rumbles. she was first daughter born to the delroy family and would be the middle child of three.     CHILDHOOD.        she spent her childhood chasing after her older brother and when her sister was born she became the doting older sister who eventually stepped into the role of ringleader, causing her parents a good deal of grief as a child often does. in school she thrived and made a lot friends with ease. she was a happy child, content with her life in boston.     ADOLESCENCE.        her success in her studies followed her into her teen years where she took an interest in a variety of subjects from science to the arts. she was, as college recruiters say, a well rounded student. on top of her studies, she found time to be in both volleyball and theater, finding a love for wardrobe design and fashion. in high school is when her style really formed into what it is now. at the end of her high school years, she had been accepted into a few ivy league colleges and graduated valedictorian of her high school. out of the colleges that accepted her, she chose university of california berkley, however, she would never make it to move in day.  PROJECT ANGELUS.   the summer before her first year of college, morrigan and her friends decided to go on a roadtrip up the east coast toward maine. unkown to her, agents from project angelus had been searching for her mother and subsequently her and her siblings. while she was gone, her siblings were taken and her mother killed. she herself would be taken at a gas station in a little town in upstate new york. project angelus was formed in the 1960s as an attempt by the CIA to experiment on mutants and turn them into assassins, similar to the winter soldier program. when morrigan was captured, the program was on what it referred to as their 3rd generation of soldier. while there she endured painful experimentation, torture, and combat training in the facility on the outskirts of a little town in maine.  THE MORRIGAN & THE ESCAPE.   she spent seven years in project angelus, the scientists and program leaders molding her into one of their finest weapons, but as time went on, she showed no signs of gaining new powers like the other mutants with her. because of this the experimentations only got more intense. one night, she laid on the floor of her room, silently sobbing and praying to any god out there that might be listening and take pity on her. one goddess did answer the pray, morrigan, the celtic goddess of war & death. the war goddess possessed her and withthe goddess's help she was able to escape, killing every single scientist and trainer in the facility. after escaping, the morrigan gifted her with her life force powers before leaving her body.

  RELOCATION TO HELL'S KITCHEN.   after escaping from project angelus, morrigan donned her new name, morrigan chateau and relocated to hell's kitchen. a town where she could hide in plain sight and blend in, or so she thought.     THE DOGS OF HELL.         twenty-five years old and with no real life skills other than how to be a killer, morrigan didn't have much in the area of job prospects in hell's kitchen. she caught the attention of the dogs of hell when they witnessed her take out two members of the russian mob who had decided to harass her and follow her out of the bar. the dogs of hell took her in and used her as their own private assassin.     LOSING THE LEASH.        for two years, she spent her life doing the dirty work of the dogs of hell. when they pointed she would shoot. finally, she was able to get her freedom, "paying off her debt" or so she thought. once she was no longer an assassin she became a coroner, having gotten her associates and bachelor's degrees. despite no longer having a leash, the dogs would still forcibly give her jobs as if she was still their private gun.     MEETING THE PUNISHER.        if putting up with the dogs of hell's shit wasn't enough to fill morrigan's plate, coming face to face with the punisher overshadowed it all. her first encounter with the vigilante was when he was hunting down the dogs. she heard the gunfire in the other room and was quick to hide. while she knew she would be the one to walk away from the fight, she hated the thought of killing another person to protect the dogs. after that incident, she gained a stalker, frank keeping tabs on her and her connection to the dogs. eventually she confronted him, though the interaction did little to diffuse the situation, instead she noticed that any dog she's around ends up dead. it doesn't take her long to figure out who's doing it and it doesn't take frank long to notice that she is hanging around the dogs more often. eventually the two team up to finish wiping out the dogs, morrigan seeing it as a way to finally be free of the dogs of hell once and for all.  BECOMING THE HELLHOUND.   in the sudden absence of daredevil in hell's kitchen, after the building collapse in midland circle, morrigan saw that the city needed someone to step up and take his place. so that is what she did. she took her old dogs of hell jacket, ripping off the club's name patch, leaving just the dog face on the back. with a bandana tied around her face, covering her nose & mouth, she started to take down the bad guys, though her methods were a lot more brutal. the city christened her with the codename 'HELLHOUND'  PRESENT DAY.   morrigan still resides in her house in hell's kitchen to this day. she works as a coroner/chief medical examiner for the nypd, using her powers to streamline the autopsy process and help with cases. she still patrols the city at night as the vigilante hellhound
